Wow! I haven't written in here for 6 years!
If I am blessed with a place where I can securely grow plants without fear of high water bills, perhaps I will pick this up again.
When I was writing in this blog, I had no land whatsoever. At present, I do have some land to grow on (a tiny bit that extends from my side of the duplex I'm renting). On it, I have a couple of lilac bushes, some raspberry bushes that have spread from a single plant, chives, peppermint, spearmint, one snowball bush (the kind where the flowers look like snowballs), goji berries, strawberries (that are showing signs of life), and comfrey. Since this is Wyoming, most of those look dead right now. We have had a very warm and dry winter (for this area), so I don't know how much has stayed alive.
No contributors but me are left, but that's okay. Times change, things change, people change.
I did make soap a while back. Spicey Suds gave me starter supplies and I went crazy for a while. By the way, this shampoo bar is one I really like:
